This is the story of the round bread with the hole in the middle, we call him Mr. Bagel. We believe Mr. Bagel was born in Poland to a Jewish family in the 16th century.
He was conceived out of a mixture of flour, water and yeast and then came to life after much mixing, kneading, shaping, a plunge into hot boiling water and a glorious basking in a warm oven. Mr. Bagel immigrated from Europe to America in the 19th century.
Due to his easy nature and fatless personality he gained immense popularity. He weighs only 230 calories when he’s not dressed in his favourite garb of cream cheese. He’s very hands on and doesn’t really need a knife and fork. He was soon adopted by New York and can be seen at every street corner. Not only New Yorkers but everybody loves Mr. Bagel!
